Although my work lies in the fields of editing and transcribing, I’ve drawn out general principles which will help you to make that jump from part-time to full-time self-employment, or to start a business in your spare time, whether you’re an accountant, an apiarist or an aromatherapist, whether you make things with buttons or beeswax or bicycle tyres.
